A great afternoon at White Pine Yoga on Saturday for a home brewing workshop. We enjoyed spreading the booch love, chatting about all things kombucha, demonstrating brewing, answering questions, sharing our brew, and sending participants home with a starter kit and workbook. A big thanks to White Pine Yoga for facilitating the event, and to all who came from near and far. We enjoyed seeing friends, and meeting new faces with some we recognized from their online support over the past year. A very positive bunch, we thank you all for attending and wish you happy brewing!

All eight flavours of our kombucha in 500 ml bottles are now available at Hyska's Your Independent Grocer in Petawawa. We're honoured to be on the shelves in the front of the store next to the fresh juices and berries. Hyska's Independent Grocer is a family operated grocery store committed to product variety and freshness. Recently they launched a fresh juice bar to the store with made-in-store fresh orange juice, fruit blends, green juices, veggie options, and even fresh lemonade. With a focus on offering locally made products becoming more and more popular, we are so happy to be a part of this growing trend in the grocery stores. Partnering with local businesses is what it's all about!
At long last Petawawa kombucha drinkers now have a retailer to stock up on local booch! Beyond Nutrition on Petawawa Boulevard offers a wide variety of health products including vitamins, supplements, protein powders, bulk food, beeswax candles, organic and gluten free food. Four flavours of kombucha are now in the fridge including Strawberry Mint, Cranberry Chill, The Apple of My Chai and Hibiscus Ginger. Pop in, pick up a bottle and give your digestion a boost.
Laurentian Brew Kombucha is in Renfrew! Thanks to Bonnechere Bakery & Bistro, our 500 ml bottles are now available at 258 Raglan St. S for take out or dine-in. A family owned bakery, bistro and fine foods emporium, Bonnechere boasts a menu of fresh and delicious soups, salads, gourmet foods, a coffee bar, and the finest baked goods including farm style bread, sweets, scones and a even a line of gluten-free products. We have a feeling that delivery day to this location will result in an armful of goods on the way in AND the way out. Stop by and try our Hibiscus Ginger, Wild Blueberry, Cranberry Chill, or The Apple of My Chai and get your fill of fresh, homemade treats.
Freddie's has it all! Consignment, buy/sell, accommodations, donairs, fry truck, ice cream, locally made products, fresh Maven Catering salads, and the best darn pizza around! They certainly won us over when they started offering gluten-free options for pizza and poutine gravy (shhh.. we have to indulge too ;) Right on the highway, West of Deep River, Freddie's has become a popular one-stop-shop for both locals and travellers alike. We are excited to be right in the middle of the big leagues of beverages, front and centre in the fridge with four flavours currently available; Strawberry Mint, Hibiscus Ginger, The Apple of My Chai, and Cranberry Chill. Water, milk, kombucha... just one of the regular beverages stocked on the shelves of your local corner store. Our kombucha is now available on the Trans Canada Highway thanks to Raby's Ultramar in Chalk River. Three flavours to choose from as of today; Mango Lassi, Wild Blueberry, and Beau-Tea-Ful Morning. Good news for our CNL customer base as you can conveniently swing in and pick up a bottle heading to or from work. ;)
We had such a blast at the Emerge + Expand event last weekend. Hosted by White Pine Yoga and Emerge Yoga Festival, over $500 was raised for Peaceful Path Yoga Project, a non-profit organization in the Valley offering free yoga to those in the community who may not otherwise have access to classes. With free delicious food, kombucha, yoga, prizes, and dancing, it was positive vibes all 'round. We encourage you to check out Emerge Yoga Festival, coming up on June 29 - July 2, for a weekend of yoga, meditation, workshops, musicians, camping, organic gourmet food and vendors right here in the Ottawa Valley. We are so thankful to have amazing people like Shannon, Pete, and Chessa who spread such light and positivity.
