A great afternoon at White Pine Yoga on Saturday for a home brewing workshop. We enjoyed spreading the booch love, chatting about all things kombucha, demonstrating brewing, answering questions, sharing our brew, and sending participants home with a starter kit and workbook. A big thanks to White Pine Yoga for facilitating the event, and to all who came from near and far. We enjoyed seeing friends, and meeting new faces with some we recognized from their online support over the past year. A very positive bunch, we thank you all for attending and wish you happy brewing!
Laurentian Brew Kombucha teamed up with Laughing Falcon Yoga and Wellness for a Kombucha Brewing Workshop on August 10. Laughing Falcon Yoga opened this Summer in Barry's Bay, Ontario and has been hosting workshops on Wednesdays throughout the season. With it's rustic modern design, including barn boards, a cozy nook, and painted window and mirror decor, the studio invites you to pull up a mat and enjoy the class.
We had the pleasure of an invitation to visit owners Meg and Ian Williams to conduct the home brewing seminar along with 9 other participants who were eager to learn how to brew their own fermented tea. Each participant received a home brewing booklet and a starter kit to begin brewing their own kombucha. We finished off the night with a taste-test of blueberry booch at the reception "bar". To all who attended, thank you and we wish you great brewing success. A special thanks to Laughing Falcon Yoga for graciously hosting. We look forward to more brewing workshops to come! We are stoked to announce our upcoming kombucha workshop to take place on August 10 at 7pm at the new Laughing Falcon Yoga and Wellness Centre in Barry's Bay, Ontario. In this workshop we will touch on the history of kombucha and its benefits but focus primarily on the brewing process. Each registrant will receive a one quart brewing kit, including live culture and starter, that can be used to make kombucha indefinitely. We will also cover primary fermentation, secondary fermentation, recipes and troubleshooting. To register, click here. The Laughing Falcon Yoga and Wellness Centre is offering several yoga classes and hosting workshops on Wednesdays throughout the Summer! |
