Ever feel like you are struggling to find your way? That the road to health and happiness is a long and bumpy path? You're not alone. We've felt it, you've felt it, we've all felt it. We struggle on a daily basis to keep our health in check. Constantly bombarded by the urge of a more sedentary lifestyle filled with garbage food makes poor choices hard to resist. Busy schedules, unrealistic expectations, the media and it's negative influence, it's so hard to look away. In a world where fast food just keeps getting faster and more and more chemicals are being consumed, we crave what is natural whether we acknowledge it or not. ...(CLICK READ MORE) Our bodies are longing for nourishment and whole foods. We want to step away from the commercial, man-made, chemical-laden shadows of consumables we call food. With this comes a thirst for knowledge. An undeniable urge to seek out truth. We can demand to know where our food is sourced, how it has been grown and harvested, and what, if any, processing has it undergone. But what if it were just as simple as eating fresh food grown as locally as possible with no chemicals? Sounds easy, right? It actually IS that easy. Our choices can be made simple by asking, is it natural? Like, truly natural. This can make all the difference in the world. Not only for the environmental aspects but for your own body. All the difference. This is why we strive to make a change in the way you fuel your body. If we can change just one individual's life in a positive way, we feel our hard work is worth it.
Enter kombucha. Now I know what you're thinking. I'm trying to sell you a product. But knowing what we know and seeing what we've seen, you would probably want to tell others as well. We are passionate and proud of the positive influence kombucha has had in our lives. There have been many instances where people have come up and shared their experience about how kombucha has changed them in a positive way. Boosting metabolism, helping digestion, alleviating seasonal allergies, decreasing food intolerances, and even helping with chronic pain. Even a simple swap out from a can of aspartame-filled pop to a glass of kombucha can make a noticeable difference. We wanted to share a review from a customer who wrote to us recently. She wrote, "Kombucha from Laurentian Brew has become part of my daily routine. Not only does it taste amazing, I have recently learned just how beneficial it is to my health as well. I suffer from chronic pain which the kombucha has made more manageable. I recently ran out of kombucha and within days felt the full effects of my chronic pain again to the point where one day I stood at the top of a staircase and didn't know how I was going to get down the stairs because my legs and mind told me I couldn't do it. I got a new supply of kombucha and the pain has started to subside and my energy levels are increasing again. The kombucha also helps reduce the effects of my throat disorder. I am a private person but thought it was necessary to share my experience as I feel you have an amazing product that everyone should try not only for the great taste but for the health benefits as well." THIS is what we live for. Hearing about how a natural product has changed someone's life. Not pills. Not an energy drink. An ancient cultured drink made naturally. We live for hearing about how a young boy with a long list of food allergies can now strike several off the list after making the small change of drinking kombucha regularly. We live for hearing about how much of an improvement kombucha has had for digestion in someone with a compromised system. We live to see kombucha replacing that chemical filled pop in the hands of children not yet old enough to ride a bike. We live, drink, breathe the lifestyle of kombucha brewers and get to reap the rewarding benefits of steering people on the right path to a healthier life. As Robert Ingersoll said, "We rise by lifting others". This is what we live for.
